More Than Just an Oil Change
While you're here for an oil change, we perform a comprehensive multi-point inspection at no extra charge—because preventive maintenance saves you money in the long run. Our oil change service includes draining old oil and replacing with quality conventional or synthetic oil matched to your vehicle's specifications, installing a new oil filter (we stock quality filters for all makes), checking and topping off all fluids (coolant, brake, power steering, washer), inspecting belts and hoses for wear or damage, checking tire pressure and tread depth, testing battery condition, and visually inspecting brakes, suspension, and exhaust systems. If we find anything that needs attention, we'll let you know—but we never pressure you into unnecessary services. Our goal is to keep you informed about your vehicle's condition so you can plan maintenance on your schedule and budget.
Synthetic vs. Conventional Oil
Not sure which oil is right for your vehicle? We'll recommend the best option based on your manufacturer's requirements, driving conditions, and budget. Synthetic oil offers superior protection, especially in extreme temperatures, extended drain intervals (typically 7,500-10,000 miles), better fuel economy, and cleaner engine operation. Conventional oil is suitable for older vehicles or those with lower mileage requirements, more affordable upfront cost, and adequate protection with 3,000-5,000 mile intervals. Many modern vehicles require synthetic oil and will suffer premature wear with conventional oil—we follow manufacturer specifications, not outdated rules of thumb. Austin's heat is hard on oil, making quality oil choices especially important. We stock premium synthetic oils from trusted brands and always use the correct viscosity and specifications for your vehicle.
